The IT department is one of the largest and most complex and
advanced departments in the hospital. It operates within a dynamic and
interactive environment where innovation and collaboration are the ground
rules.The department houses young skilled IT professionals that are committed
to implement the highest level of IT standards to support the hospital
functions at operational, managerial, and strategic levels

Our mission is to provide day-in and day-out high quality
computer and IT services to all the hospital departments, medical and
administrative. We are committed and devoted to help the hospital achieve its
mission of becoming a fully automated paperless filmless hospital by developing
and employing the latest IT technologies.

|
|
The IT department is responsible for managing the entire
IT Architecture
at the hospital. The multitasking members of the IT department work in teams
among 7 logically divided sections within the department: Research and
Development, Operations, Database, Application Development, Support (Front
Office, Back Office, and Medical Systems), Networking, Training, and
Logistics.Moreover, the IT department collaborates with a number of top notch
technology companies including Microsoft, ORACLE, IBM, GE Medical Systems, HP,
and CISCO

|
The IT department is situated in several locations in the
Basement B1. The IT department has a large office where most of its members are
located. Nearby, there are IT offices that are mainly responsible for the
networking and operations functions. In addition, there are 2 highly advanced
and secured data centers where all the data, network, servers, and back up
systems are placed.

| Operating Hours |
|
|
The IT department functions 24 hours a day 7 days a week to
ensure continuous support for system users. The working hours are divided upon
the members of the department in 3 consecutive shifts: morning, afternoon, and
night
