| Physiotherapy is a holistic approach to the prevention, assessment, and
therapeutic management of disorders of movement or optimization of function by
the use of physical interventions, and/or electro physical agents, and/or
exercise prescription within a framework of empowerment of the individual/care
of the community through education. |
| The rehabilitation doctor makes the consultation and the
diagnosis for the patient and prescribes medical treatment and/or
physiotherapy. |

The mission of the physiotherapy section is to achieve excellence in assessment,
treatment, intervention, and education for the patients with any injury or
disease.

The rehabilitation doctor makes the consultation and the diagnosis for the
patient and prescribes medical treatment and/or physiotherapy.
A team of rehabilitation doctor and four physiotherapists in RHUH is waiting to
give you the newest treatments and to help you solving your problems. So don't

1. Electrotherapy: electrotherapy in BGUH physiotherapy department
is available by a high quality computerized machines. These machines give you
analgesic, stimulation, muscle strengthening, and also we have the possibility
to make biofeedback technique.
2. Mechanical therapy: In this department this kind of
therapy starts from the traditional pulley therapy going to the newest
computerized equipment which treats injuries and gives exact results related to
the pathology.
3. Hydrotherapy: the patient can receive from the hot water
multiple benefits and he can be relaxed.
There are more physiotherapy equipments to help our patient like thermo
or cold therapy, wax, laser, pressotherapy ….
