Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department delivers comprehensive services
to individuals with physical and mental dysfunction secondary to disease or injury.
Services include physical assessment, development of treatment plans, delivery and
documentation of care, consultation, reevaluation, discharge planning, and patient/family
education.
This department collaborates with: Orthopaedic, Rheumatology unit, Neurology unit,
Respiratory unit, Cardio-vascular unit, Pediatric unit, ICU (immobile patients),
Burns unit, Gynecology &Obstetric unit, and Pain relief unit.
The Physiotherapy Department provides four kinds of treatments namely thermotherapy,
Manual and Mechanical therapy, Electrotherapy, and Hydrotherapy.
